For more than 80 years, Architectural Signs has been dedicated to one core principle: delivering excellence in custom signage and service.

Founded in 1942 by local artist Drew Hewling under the name Continental Signs, the company quickly built a reputation for creativity and craftsmanship in Denver. In 1972, long-time employee Dean Aschenbrenner purchased the business, renamed it Architectural Signs, and successfully operated it for over four decades.

In 2013, the company entered a new era when it was acquired by a team of seasoned sign professionals—Mary Harris and Travis Keller—who, alongside Vern Harris, had previously run The Signtist in Denver for more than 20 years. Interestingly, Vern began his career in the sign industry with Architectural Signs back in 1979, bringing the company’s story full circle.

Today, Architectural Signs continues that proud legacy by specializing in high-quality office signage, lobby signs, building identification, and monument signs. Our team creates custom cast and cut-out letters, plaques, and logos using a wide variety of materials—metals, laminates, acrylics, wood, and stone. With precision methods such as router cutting, laser cutting, water jet cutting, and casting, we ensure every project meets the highest standards of design and durability.
